AtlasAdvancement was created and brought to market in July 2002 by company founders Jon Bartlett and Steve Laskin. Their ambition was to bring a true career consulting perspective to a very stale and by-the-book recruiting-agency market place. They worked with 95% “passive job seekers” who were the best at what they did and were not actively searching for new opportunities.  Atlas started mining passive job seekers before LinkedIn was launched at the end of 2002 – teaching staff to strategically source and build internal organizational charts was crucial and proved to be a true value add to companies seeking top talent. Atlas listens to the needs and desires of their people and have created a process that uncovers the best company-to-candidate matches. Atlas prides itself on meeting candidates, qualifying candidate and client needs, and sending only the best candidates for an open role.  Atlas is not a typical resume shop as they deliver top talent with an ideal fit at a very low churn rate.
