Recruiting Managers Mija Saracevic and Stephanie Croghan volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House with Operations Manager Brittney. For those of you not familiar with Ronald McDonald house, they provide a “home away from home” for families who have children being treated at Children’s National Hospital, MedStar Georgetown and several other local medical centers. The philosophy of the Ronald McDonald House is that parents should focus on their children and not where they will stay or what they will eat for dinner.

The ladies went grocery shopping for supplies to cook a homemade dinner for families staying at the home whichwas constructed in 2010 and features 24 bedrooms. Tacos was the cuisine of choice and they loaded up on salsa, tomatoes, lettuce and other delicious items. With other volunteers, they chopped vegetables, cooked chicken and arranged a fruit tray for the families. Everyone was excited to be a part of such a great organization!
