We are excited to become sponsors of The Family and Children’s Trust Fund of Virginia. The organization, which was founded in 1986, raises funds for the prevention and treatment of family violence. Family violence can be defined by child abuse and neglect, domestic volence, dating violence sexual assualt and elder abuse or neglect.
FACT’S Board of Trustees are committed to promoting public awareness of family violence and we are honored to become a part of this ongoing project.
On April 4, 2012, we will be attending a fundraising event to help contribute to the 2.1 million dollars FACT has raised since 2003. This event will help sponsor and fund 23 different projects throughout the state of Virginia that help victims of family abuse and violence. The trust enables ongoing projects as well as the prevention of future abuse by making the community aware.
